Quarry Bank Mill – Style in Styal

On a slightly damp June Sunday, over seventy singers arrived at Quarry Bank Mill to add to the entertainment on offer at the Family Discovery Day. The rain failed to dampen our spirits, and after a warm up in what looked like a rather nice tea room, we took up our positions in the Mill Yard, and sang some old favourites and the new songs we have been working on this year. The National Trust staff provided  seats for our audience, and we were also in a prime position for passing ‘trade’, but we were pleased that people stopped to listen despite the weather.
