Greetings from Manchester Community Choir to all our singers and friends!

Hooray! We have returned to active singing together and registration is open for new or returning members.

We have arranged outdoor rehearsals for September and October – on Sundays at Christie’s open sided multi-storey car park and on Mondays on the terrace at Coffee Cranks in Alexandra Park, or inside the cafe (details will be announced in advance). Where possible these sessions will be hybrid with Zoom.

New members are warmly invited to join us, and registration instructions have been emailed to all the existing membership. See our Joining page for full details.

Have you seen our second video yet? Featuring the choir singing “We Need Each Other Now” in beautiful harmony. This song is by John Kettle of the band Merry Hell and the arrangement is by Alison Crutchley. Our special thanks go to our MD Rose Hodgson for her inspiration and dedication; and to Mark Ewart for another excellent production!

We are using this video to raise money for the excellent work of the Stockport and District Samaritans. Donations are welcome at this page: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ManchesterCommunityChoir
