Greetings from Manchester Community Choir to all our singers and friends!

Latest news: we now have two more live sessions for members: Monday July 19th (our last official rehearsal of the season) at Alexandra Park in Whalley Range (and on Zoom for members who can’t attend in person). And then a special extra event on Sunday 25th July at 3.30pm in an open sided car park with a maximum of 30 singers. This is a trial, its not a scheduled rehearsal and will not be on Zoom. More information is on the choir calendar and full details are being sent to members.

Our planning for the next year choir 2021-22, starting in September, is now underway. Full details including subscription rates will be announced soon, see our our Joining page for full details as they become available.

We are thrilled to announce our second video, featuring the choir singing “We Need Each Other Now” in beautiful harmony. This song is by John Kettle of the band Merry Hell and the arrangement is by Alison Crutchley. Our special thanks go to our MD Rose Hodgson for her inspiration and dedication; and to Mark Ewart for another excellent production!

We are using this video to raise money for the excellent work of the Stockport and District Samaritans. Donations are welcome at this page: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ManchesterCommunityChoir
